Music is a vital part of the human experience and expresses emotions in ways nothing else can. Performing music in a group is an experience like no other. The emotional connection felt among the performers makes us better, more human.  This connection can occur among performers at any level from beginners to experts, from amateurs to professionals. Everyone, regardless of age, socioeconomic status, or ability level, deserves to explore this connection. I teach music to give my students the opportunity to experience this connection.
